How long do dental implants last?+
With proper care, dental implants are designed to last a lifetime. The titanium post typically never needs replacing. The ceramic crown may need replacement after 15 to 20 years with normal wear. Regular cleanings and checkups are essential for long-term implant health.
Does getting a dental implant hurt?+
Implant placement is performed under local anesthesia or sedation, so you feel no pain during the procedure. Most patients experience mild soreness and swelling for 3 to 5 days afterward, which is managed with over-the-counter pain relievers. Many patients report the procedure was far more comfortable than they expected.
Does insurance cover dental implants in Arvada, Colorado?+

When a tooth is lost, the jawbone at that site begins to deteriorate from lack of stimulation. Surrounding teeth gradually shift toward the gap, affecting your bite and increasing your risk of further tooth loss. Dental implants are the only replacement option that prevents bone loss.
Can dental implants fail?+
Implant failure is uncommon with a success rate above 95%. Risk factors include smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, and poor oral hygiene. We thoroughly evaluate your health before placement and provide detailed aftercare instructions to maximize your chances of long-term success.
