Dentures Aren't Your Only Option. And Conventional Dentures Don't Have to Be the Final Answer.
If you've been living with traditional dentures, you already know the daily routine. Adhesive that fails halfway through dinner. Speech that suddenly sounds different. Foods that quietly disappear from your plate. There's a better solution, and it doesn't require committing to the full investment of a fixed All-On-X restoration.
At Arvada Dental Center & Implants, our implant supported dentures snap securely onto a small number of dental implants, giving you the day-to-day stability and bite confidence you've been missing. You keep the convenience of a removable appliance for easy nightly cleaning, but you finally lose the slipping, the adhesives, and the worry.

The Benefits of Implant Supported Dentures
Implant supported dentures sit at the sweet spot between traditional dentures and full-arch fixed implants. You get most of the stability of fixed teeth, at a fraction of the investment.
Snaps Firmly Into Place | Locator attachments connect your denture directly to the implants. No adhesive, no powders, no daily anxiety about whether today is the day it slips.
Dramatically More Stable | The shifting, clicking, and slipping that come with conventional dentures essentially disappear. You eat, talk, and laugh without thinking about your teeth.
Slows Bone Loss | The implants stimulate your jawbone the same way natural roots do, which protects your facial structure and prevents the sunken-cheek look that long-term denture wearers often develop.
Still Removable for Cleaning | Unlike fixed restorations, you take the denture out at night to clean both the appliance and your gums thoroughly. Simple, hygienic, and familiar.
A Foundation You Can Upgrade Later | Many patients start here and later transition to a fully fixed All-On-X bridge. The implants you place now can support that upgrade when you're ready.
Far More Affordable Than Fixed | Starting at $5,995 per arch with IV sedation included, implant supported dentures deliver a major quality-of-life upgrade at a fraction of the cost of a full-arch fixed restoration.

Are You a Candidate for Implant Supported Dentures?
You're likely a strong candidate if you've lost most or all of your teeth in one or both arches and want a stability upgrade from a conventional denture. Patients who've worn traditional dentures for years and are tired of the slipping, the adhesives, and the food restrictions are often the most enthusiastic about this option. Reasonable general health and enough bone density to support two to four implants per arch are the main clinical requirements.
If you've experienced significant bone loss, you may need a bone graft before implant placement, or in some cases a different solution like zygomatic implants may be the better path. Dr. Bennett gives you an honest evaluation at your consultation, including whether implant supported dentures are the right fit, or whether an alternative like the fully-fixed All-On-X would serve you better long-term.

What to Expect: Your Implant Supported Denture Journey
From your first 3D scan to the day your new denture clicks into place, every step happens under one roof at our Arvada office.
You meet Dr. Bennett, share your dental history, and step into our cone beam CT scanner. The scan gives us a complete 3D view of your jaw structure, bone density, and anatomy, which tells us exactly how many implants your case needs and where they'll be placed.
Two to four implants are placed in your jawbone under IV sedation, using a fully-guided surgical template printed from your treatment plan. Most patients are surprised by how comfortable and uneventful the procedure is. If any failing teeth need to come out, that happens the same day.
Over the next 3 to 4 months, your implants quietly fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. During this time, you wear a temporary denture so you're never without teeth. We see you for routine check-ins to make sure healing is on track.
Once your implants have fully integrated, we fit your final denture with locator attachments that snap onto your implants. The fit, bite, and aesthetics are dialed in over a couple of appointments until everything feels and looks exactly right.

Healing Made Simple
The first few days after implant placement bring mild swelling and soreness, easily managed with the prescription support we provide in-house. Soft foods for the first week, then a steady return to your normal diet as your tissues heal. Once your final denture is in, the daily routine is straightforward: snap it on in the morning, snap it off and clean it at night, brush your gums and any remaining natural teeth, and see us every six months for a professional cleaning and implant check.
Affordable Pathways to Stable Dentures
Implant supported dentures are one of the most accessible implant solutions we offer, with treatment starting at $5,995 per arch and monthly financing from as low as $248/month. IV sedation is included in your treatment cost, not billed separately. We partner with CareCredit, Cherry Payment Plans, Sunbit Finance, PatientFi, Proceed Finance, and LendingClub, and most patients receive a financing decision the same day they apply. Implant supported dentures at Arvada Dental Center & Implants start at $5,995 per arch, with monthly financing from as low as $253/month through partners like CareCredit, Cherry, Sunbit, PatientFi, Proceed Finance, and LendingClub. The exact figure depends on how many implants your case needs (typically 2 to 4) and the type of denture. IV sedation is included in every case. You'll get a full itemized breakdown at your consultation, no estimates that change later.
Traditional dentures rest on your gums and rely on suction or adhesive to stay in place, which is why they shift, click, and slip. Implant supported dentures snap directly onto 2 to 4 dental implants anchored in your jawbone. The result is dramatically better stability, stronger bite force, less daily frustration, and active preservation of the jawbone (which conventional dentures cannot do).
Yes. That's actually one of their key advantages over a fixed restoration. You snap the denture into place in the morning, wear it confidently all day, and remove it at night for thorough cleaning. The implants stay in place permanently, but the denture itself is removable for easy hygiene.
Most cases use 2 to 4 implants per arch, depending on the type of denture and your bone structure. Lower arches often work well with 2 implants. Upper arches typically need 4 for adequate stability. Dr. Bennett confirms the exact number after reviewing your 3D scan at consultation.
Not always. Patients with adequate bone density can usually go straight to implant placement. Those with moderate bone loss may need a small bone graft first, which we perform in-house. Your 3D CBCT scan gives us a clear picture of your bone volume at consultation, so you'll know exactly what's required before any treatment begins.
It depends on your plan, but many dental insurance policies contribute partially toward the surgical phase, the denture itself, or both. We verify your benefits before treatment begins and structure your case to capture every dollar your plan will pay. Whatever insurance doesn't cover, our financing partners almost always can.
Yes, and many patients do. The implants placed for your snap-on denture can often serve as a foundation if you decide later that you want to upgrade to a fully-fixed full-arch restoration. We design every implant placement with the future in mind, so you're never locked into a single path.
