This is the day everything changes. You arrive in the morning and are placed under IV sedation by Dr. Bennett, who is Moderate IV Sedation Certified with annual ACLS renewal. Plan on 3 to 6 hours in our office, during which Dr. Bennett removes any failing teeth, clears infection, and places your implants using a fully-guided surgical template 3D-printed in our in-house lab. In most cases, your fixed temporary healing teeth are placed the same day, so you leave with a complete, functional smile.

About three weeks after surgery, you return for a quick check-up. We assess your healing, confirm your gums and implants are integrating properly, and clean and inspect your temporary teeth. This is also your chance to share how the temporary set feels and what you would adjust. The temporary teeth are your test drive, and the feedback you give here directly shapes the final design.

Roughly 3 to 5 months after surgery, once your implants have fully integrated with the jawbone, you come in to begin designing your final teeth. You return to try on your prototype set, an exact replica of what your final zirconia teeth will look and feel like. You wear them for about 2 weeks so you can eat, speak, and smile with them in your everyday life before we commit to the final fabrication. We do not fabricate your final teeth until you have lived with the design and confirmed it is exactly what you want.
